If you’ve been following me for a long time, you’ve probably noticed my constant posts about an independent band called PK from Templeton/San Luis Obispo, CA. I’ve told the story about a million times so I won’t get into it again BUT for the first time since I’ve known them, they’re reaching out to their fans for help, financially. Now that they go by Night Riots, they’ve been working hard to reestablish themselves and they’re ready to make a new EP.
Tonight, they launched an indiegogo campaign complete with some pretty cool perks. It’d be awesome if you guys checked it out! If you go to their campaign, you can look over their in depth explanations about where the money earned goes! You can listen to their previously released music here and watch their newish music video here to maybe help you decide.
I love these guys a whole lot, as a band and as friends, so please check them out!

Landmarks Around the World Go Dark for @earthhour
Today, people around the world will celebrate Earth Hour (@earthhourofficial) by turning off their non-essential lights from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. local time. The event was conceived by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) in 2007 as a way to raise awareness about climate change.
Iconic buildings and landmarks participate each year, offering a rare unilluminated glimpse at their exteriors. Be sure to browse the location pages below for photos of the Earth Hour events!
